I am soon going to change my Blog address to only Gohardesign.com, so thought of sharing some tips and how-to on this with you all.This is very very simple and can be done with in a day. I will explain step by step
1. Lets assume that your blog address is gohardesign.blogspot.com and you want it to be http://gohardesign.com

2. First thing to do is to register a domain http://gohardesign.com with any webhosting company. There are thousands available online.
3. Register the domain with the provider who gives the domain forwarding facility free.
4. Once the domain is registerd just login in your control panel (this will be provided by the company through whom you have registerd the domain).

5. Go to domain forwarding settings and put your blog address http://gohardesign.blogspot.com there.
6. Activate URL Masking. (this is very important)
7. Now what happens is when someone puts http://www.gohardesign.com in browser the domain forwarding settings will forward the re-question http://gohardesign.blogspot.com
8. Now URL Masking comes in the picture as when user reaches to your blog http://gohardesign.blogspot.com and he wont see this address in the browser. instead he will see http://www.gohardesign.com because of the url masking feature.
And this i it you have successfully changed your Blog Address to your desired domain name :D
